Early Life and Education

Jose Reyna was born in Puerto Rico in 1951. He graduated with his bachelors degree from the University of Puerto Rico in 1973. Dr. Reyna moved to the United States to complete his chiropractic education at Life Chiropractic University in Marietta,GA (1981). Dr. Jose received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree with honors (Magna Cum Laude) from Life University in 1985. In 1987, he completed an acupuncture fellowship with The International Academy of Clinical Acupuncture.

Professional Career

Dr. Reyna is licensed in Maryland, Florida and Puerto Rico. His first practice in Puerto Rico treated more than 10,500 patients from 1986-2000. While managing his successful practice, Dr. Reyna was also the Medicare and Medicaid Adviser to Chiropractic Benefits in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico (1996-2001), President of the Board of Chiropractic Examiners Department of Health Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, appointed by the Governor (1994-2001) and, Vice President of the Puerto Rico Chiropractic Association (1987-1994).

In 2006, Dr. Reyna won the prestigious NRCC Physician of the Year Award.

Dr. Reyna is a licensed Florida Chiropractor serving the Miami-Dade County, City of Miami and Kendall community. His practice in The Hammocks has been serving the local community since 2003. Jose Reyna uses chiropractic care to improve the health and wellness in all areas of patient's lives, whether they are having problems with back pain or neck pain, or just want to start feeling better and changing your quality of life.

Dr. Reyna takes a "whole person" approach in chiropractic care, which means looking for the underlying causes of disease, discomfort, and pain, as opposed to just treating the symptoms. Many seemingly unrelated symptoms often arise from imbalances in the spinal column, and Dr. Reyna will be able to determine the root of the pain and create a personalized chiropractic and wellness plan to suit each patient's individual needs.
